Welcome to the Bar L Cattle Company Web Site. We have been raising Registered Texas Longhorns and Longhorn composite cross-bred cattle since 1993 near Brenham, Texas. Our goal is to produce Registered cattle that not only have exceptional horn, beautiful color and correct conformation but to produce cattle that have the ability to pass these genetics on to their offspring as well. This creates value in the cattle and allows our customers to bring these genetics and this value into their herds. Every one of our cows are gentle and easy to handle. We won’t raise one that isn’t.
We also offer 100% All Natural Lean Grass Fed Beef. No hormones, No steroids, No antibiotics. Just healthy, flavorful beef!

Larry Lonero has been in the
cattle business since 1993 with his wife Robyn and their daughters. They own
the Bar L Cattle Company and raise registered Texas Longhorn Cattle and
Longhorn/Angus/Limousin composite cattle. They are members of Texas Longhorn Marketing
Association (T.L.M.A.), the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America
(T.L.B.A.A.) the International Texas Longhorn Association (I.T.L.A.), Texas
Longhorn Cooperative (T.L.C.) as well as many local chapters of these
organizations. Larry is currently the President of the Houston Area Texas
Longhorn Association (H.A.T.L.A.). He is a certified I.T.L.A. Show Judge and
has judged both I.T.L.A and T.L.B.A.A. shows across the country. Larry is a past Member of the Board of
Directors of The I.T.L.A., past President of the Houston Chapter of the
I.T.L.A., past Director of the Texas Longhorn Breeders of the Gulf Coast
Chapter of the T.L.B.A.A., past Director of the Houston Chapter of the I.T.L.A.
and past Director of the West Texas Chapter of the I.T.L.A. He is also a
pilot for Southwest Airlines based in Houston since 1987.
